Homecoming Carnival<\/strong> – Make plans to attend the 2013 Homecoming Carnival on Friday from 5-8 p.m. on the northeast lawn of the Williams Performing Arts Center. Cost is $5 per wristband. Carnival food will also be available for purchase. Wristbands can be pre-purchased this week through Thursday at 5 p.m. in the Alumni Relations Office, Suite 280 of the Hunter Welcome Center.<\/p>\n

Offices will close at 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct 18th, to allow faculty and staff to attend the homecoming carnival<\/a>. Please display appropriate signage at your offices to notify students and visitors in advance. Be sure to take this opportunity to interact with campus visitors as well.<\/p>\n

Homecoming JamFest Concert and Fireworks Show<\/strong> – Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy student talent on the east lawn of the Hunter Welcome Center! Student bands kick off at 6:15 p.m. Enjoy a spectacular fireworks show at 8:15 p.m., followed by the JamFest headlining bands.<\/p>\n

Homecoming Parade<\/strong> – Enjoy colorful floats, music and special guests in the 2013 Homecoming Parade. \u00a0Grand Marshal is Mrs. Dewby (Adams ’50) Ray. The parade is Saturday, Oct. 19 and begins at 9:30 a.m. on E.N. 16th and then on to Campus Court.<\/p>\n

Homecoming Chapel<\/strong> – Engage in a time of worship on Saturday at 10:45 a.m. The guest speaker is Josh Ross (’03), pulpit minister at Sycamore View Church of Christ in Memphis.<\/p>\n

Homecoming Football Game<\/strong> – Watch the ACU Wildcats take on the University of the Incarnate Word Cardinals at 2 p.m. at Shotwell Stadium.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
