Due to this week&#8217;s closure and delay, the following is information regarding submitting time for hourly paid employees:<\/p>\n<p><b>Non-Exempt employees<\/b>\u00a0will see a line titled &#8220;Inclement\u00a0Weather&#8221; on their Web Time. Non-Exempt employees (including temporary employees) who did not work during the\u00a0closure\u00a0should record their normally scheduled hours as\u00a0inclement\u00a0weather\u00a0for \u00a02\/23 and the morning of 2\/24. Non-Exempt employees who worked any time during the\u00a0closure, including checking work email and voice mail, should record the time worked as base pay and the remainder of their regular schedule as\u00a0inclement\u00a0weather.<\/p>\n<p>Each Department needs to make a decision as to how to handle their\u00a0<b>student employees<\/b>. Departments may:<\/p>\n<div>1) allow students to work extra hours to make up the time missed<\/div>\n<div>2) pay your student employees their regularly scheduled hours during the\u00a0closure. Student employees will not have an\u00a0inclement\u00a0weather\u00a0line and should record the hours as timed work<\/div>\n<div>3) inform students that they will not be paid for the\u00a0closure<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><b>Exempt employees<\/b>\u00a0need not take any action.<\/p>\n<p>Please contact human resources at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:humanresources@acu.edu\" target=\"_blank\">humanresources@acu.edu<\/a>\u00a0or x2359 if you have questions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ACU&#8217;s Inclement Weather Procedures can be viewed on the HR web page.
