{"id":4253,"date":"2015-06-29T14:33:52","date_gmt":"2015-06-29T19:33:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/hr\/?p=4253"},"modified":"2015-06-29T14:49:53","modified_gmt":"2015-06-29T19:49:53","slug":"changes-to-acus-holiday-schedule","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/hr\/2015\/06\/29\/changes-to-acus-holiday-schedule\/","title":{"rendered":"Changes to ACU&#8217;s Holiday Schedule"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Human Resources is excited to announce an update to ACU&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.acu.edu\/campusoffices\/hr\/benefits\/programs\/holidays.html\" target=\"_blank\">Holiday Benefit<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.acu.edu\/campusoffices\/hr\/holidays.html\" target=\"_blank\">Calendar<\/a>. <b>Effective this academic year, offices will be closed on Fall Break.<\/b> Classes remain in session on Labor Day so the decision was made to repurpose the Labor Day floating holiday to a closure on Fall Break. Staff are still welcome to use a vacation day on Labor Day with their supervisor&#8217;s approval.<\/div>\n<p><strong>Offices will also be closed the Friday of Spring Break.<\/strong> Offices should remain open <span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Monday<\/span><\/span> through <span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Thursday<\/span><\/span> of Spring Break.
