NCAA regulations permit an ACU coach or staff member to provide a student-athlete or an entire team with an occasional meal on infrequent and special occasions, but these meals must take place at the individual’s home, on campus, or at a facility that is regularly used for home competition.<\/p>\n
A few important reminders regarding occasional meals:
\n\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Southland Conference regulations limit occasional meals to once per month per student-athlete
\n\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0A prospect enrolled in summer school and attending classes during the summer term may attend an occasional meal
\n\u2022\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0A signee may attend an occasional meal prior to the first day of classes only if they have arrived on campus with the intent of staying at ACU to attend classes that semester<\/p>\n
All occasional meals must be pre-approved by the Compliance Office. To seek approval to provide an occasional meal, you will need complete an Occasional Meal Form in the Athletic Compliance.
