If you have received a bill from a facility, it is very important for you to contact ELAP. Sometimes it is difficult to tell if the bill you receive is a facility bill or a professional bill; therefore, if ELAP receives a bill from a physician or professional in error, their procedure is to direct you to GPA to discuss that bill with a customer service representative who will go over the details with you \u2013 for example, if the claim was processed and if so, do you owe anything on that claim, etc.\u00a0 Sometimes it is possible that the claim was never submitted.
