Any checks postmarked by December 31 will still be gift receipted as 2019 gifts. However, for credit card gifts to be receipted as a 2019 gift, the credit card transaction must be completed by December 31.<\/p>\n<p>If your office receives donations, please send the checks and envelopes to our office as soon as possible after we reopen on January 2 so that we may close the 2019 books in a timely manner.
