Pat Miller, the wife of Dr. Emmett Miller, was transferred Saturday from a hospital in San Angelo to Abilene’s Hendrick Medical Center, where she began receiving hospice care.

However, she showed enough improvement Sunday to be moved out of hospice care and to another room, and has been responding to family members for the first time since the Nov. 4 bus accident.

Pat, just wanted to let you know I was praying for you today. If you are who I think you are, I stayed with your Dad in Cloudcroft several summers ago. Either way, know I am praying for you
