Canon’s lightest full-frame camera, the Canon RP shoots 26 megapixel photos and records 4K UHD video to removable SD cards (included). This camera accepts only Canon RF lenses and comes ready to shoot with a 24-105mm f/4-7.6mm IS zoom lens.
Full-frame DSLR camera captures still 20 megapixel photos and HD video to removable SD cards (included). The 6D accepts Canon EF lenses and checks out with a 24-105mm f/4.0 L IS zoom lens.

Canon 6D Training
Students interested in access to one of our full-frame Canon 6D cameras are required to attend an advanced DSLR training.
We regularly invite professional photographers to give students an inside look at their shooting and editing workflows through hands-on workshops.
Photoshop is the world’s most popular image-editing tool, available to the ACU community as part of Adobe Creative Cloud. To get started, download Photoshop CC and watch our Photoshop Boot Camp tutorial with Mike Wiggins.
Those new to photo editing should explore Adobe Lightroom to start. It’s packed with many of the features of Photoshop, in an intuitive, easy-to-use interface. It’s also especially good at editing large numbers of images and helping you keep everything organized.

Digital storytelling blends text, image and sound into powerful multimedia stories with a richness that surpasses the more traditional ways we communicate.

Digital Storytelling Training
Learning Studio staff work with students and faculty through a variety of in-class training and regular workshops.
We offer in-class training for the digital essay project for students taking first-year composition classes.
We work with programs like Cornerstone and Study Abroad as well as individual teachers assigning digital storytelling for student projects.
Dozens of ACU faculty have completed their own digital stories in two and three-day workshops that introduce them to teaching with media projects.

The Learning Studio checks out a range of microphones and audio recorders for beginning and intermediate users. Here’s an overview of what we offer.
Our audio suite, located in Media 3, includes a high-quality microphone and an acoustically treated space for recording podcasts or other audio. An additional microphone and professional audio interface are also available for checkout at the front desk.

Learn how to get the most out of your checkout equipment with one of our Gear Up tutorials on recording audio with Lavalier, Boom, and USB mics for your next project.
Audition is an advanced audio editor for recording and mixing a podcast or a multi-track music project.
This boot camp from John Mark Lapham in the Learning Studio will introduce key tools that will make your work sound great.

The Learning Studio makes DSLR cameras and video accessories available free with your ACU ID. Whether it’s tripods, lighting, cameras or lenses, we’ve got you covered.
Our video suite, located in Media 2, features a backdrop and pro video lighting, as well as a simple video recording interface that anyone can use. Videos save to a USB drive, so make sure and bring one with you when you come.
Stage 1 Studio
If you’re planning an advanced project, Stage 1 is a professional film studio, acoustically treated and featuring a 30-foot wraparound wall with multiple curtain and lighting options.
