Apple iBooks require an iPad running the <a href=\"http:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/ibooks\/id364709193?mt=8\" target=\"_blank\">iBooks 2 app<\/a>\u00a0and are not currently viewable on a Mac, PC or smartphone.)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Highlights<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The 35-page report includes interviews and projects from 35 faculty and students<\/li>\n<li>Our 8,800 square foot facility is presented from early design sketches to a full virtual tour<\/li>\n<li>7 content galleries and 14 movies\u2014including the Year One feature video\u2014introduce major projects<\/li>\n<li>A &#8220;by the numbers&#8221; section summarizes facility usage, workshops participation and equipment checkout<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>About the Report<\/h3>\n<p>Learning Studio staff produced the Year One Report using iBooks Author for display on iPad, in part to better understand the software and assess its potential in producing next-generation learning content.<\/p>\n<p>On September 19th, we&#8217;ll be presenting on the process in an NMC Connect webinar hosted by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">New Media Consortium<\/a>.
