This summer that will change as the university signs a campus license for all software packages in Adobe Creative Cloud. Students and faculty wanting to learn advanced video editing on Premiere or photo editing in Lightroom will now have much wider access.<\/p>\n<p>The Creative Cloud for Enterprise license includes the following software packages<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u2022\u00a0 <strong>Photoshop CC<\/strong>\u00a0 \u2013\u00a0 image editing<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u2022\u00a0 <strong>Illustrator CC<\/strong>\u00a0 \u2013\u00a0 illustration\/drawing<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u2022\u00a0 <strong>InDesign CC\u00a0<\/strong> \u2013\u00a0 page design\/layout<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u2022\u00a0 <strong>Acrobat Pro<\/strong>\u00a0 \u2013\u00a0 PDF creation<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u2022\u00a0 <strong>Premiere Pro CC\u00a0<\/strong> \u2013\u00a0 video editing<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u2022\u00a0 <strong>After Effects CC\u00a0<\/strong> \u2013\u00a0 motion graphics<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u2022\u00a0 <strong>Lightroom CC\u00a0<\/strong> \u2013\u00a0 photo editing<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u2022\u00a0 <strong>Dreamweaver CC\u00a0<\/strong> \u2013\u00a0 web design<\/p>\n<p>To celebrate the arrival of Adobe CC to campus, the Learning Studio is highlighting two ways you can get started with the Adobe design and media collection.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #dd4f05; font-size: medium;\">Lynda.com<\/span>\u00a0 \u2013\u00a0 If you have some time this summer and want a quick introduction to an Adobe title taught by professionals, Lynda.com is a great place to start. Visit (and bookmark) <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lynda.com\/portal\/acu\" target=\"_blank\">www.lynda.com\/portal\/acu<\/a><\/strong> and search for courses on the CC or Creative Cloud title you&#8217;re interested in.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Most major titles have an extensive introduction course, often called &#8220;Essential Training&#8221; that provides detail on most any feature, or you might look for courses focused on an area of interest:\u00a0 &#8220;Photoshop for Photographers&#8221; or &#8220;Photoshop for Designers.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Another option is to look for short, practical tutorials that do something you want to do like colorizing a photograph or enhancing a sunset photo, though these quick tips often assume you know your away around the main tools.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #dd4f05; font-size: medium;\">LS workshops\u00a0<\/span> \u2013\u00a0 This summer and fall the Learning Studio will also offer hands-on workshops introducing key Adobe titles.
