The Learning Studio managed checkouts for a wide variety of camera bodies and lenses, including Canon&#8217;s popular 5D we <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/learningstudio\/2010\/12\/08\/hdslr-explosion\/\">discussed in a recent post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.acu.edu\/news\/2011\/110404-filmfest-canon.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-421 alignright\" style=\"border: 0pt none;\" title=\"filmfest\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/learningstudio\/files\/2011\/04\/filmfest.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"160\" height=\"152\" \/><\/a>Friday night at a premiere event at the historic Paramount theater winners were announced.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/vimeo.com\/21305106\">&#8220;Hazel &amp; Jack,<\/a>&#8221; directed by Lawson Soward and produced by Caitlin Bardford, took home awards for Best Picture, Best Director and Best Producer.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=USq_iNeZHvM\">&#8220;Smile,<\/a>&#8221; directed by Ben Weaver and produced by Nathan Vail, earned the People\u2019s Choice Award and Best Original Composition.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=VyiEHRM10xs\">&#8220;The Reunion,<\/a>&#8221; directed by David McMichael and produced by Trevor Cochlin, won Best Independent Film.<\/li>\n<li>The screening also included Best Picture for last semester\u2019s 24-hour FilmFest, &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=L7Heqf9cfRg\">Pages,<\/a>&#8221; directed by Jordan Havens and produced by Ben Weaver.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Then on Saturday a panel of guest judges met with students to provide feedback on each film as well as share their experience in the entertainment industry.
