Nil Santana, Director of the ACU Maker Lab, was recently accepted to the Adobe Education Leader Program, which according to Jason Katsoff, Adobe Customer Success Manager, “is made up of some top creative educators from around the world, including members in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Germany, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

The program not only shares their knowledge through conferences, workshops and focus groups but also provides a network of support through leadership and professional development to assist administrators and faculty to think in new and creative ways.

Jason Katsoff continues, “We are excited to welcome Nil as an Adobe Education Leader! The Adobe Education Leader (AEL) program is an exclusive community of teachers, lecturers, and administrators in schools and higher education institutions who are at the forefront of creative education.  As leaders in their field, they are dedicated to creating a dynamic learning environment on campus and establishing best practices for other faculty and professionals in the broader education community to emulate.”

Nil Santana says, “I am honored and thrilled to be part of this world community of teachers and professionals. AELs are dedicated to enhancing creativity and collaboration, and to improving the teaching and learning experience of students and peers. I look forward to participating in the development of curriculums that not only will be used worldwide but in particular here at ACU. Without a doubt this will be an inspirational and influential experience for me.”
