In an effort to foster creativity, 100 higher education colleagues from 45 institutions gathered at the Adobe Creative Campus Collaboration on Feb. 11-14 at the University of Miami.  Learning Technologist, Amos Gutierrez, represented ACU’s Innovation Foundry at this event.

Academic colleagues from the University of Miami, Clemson University, Penn State University, University of North Carolina, and the University of Indiana shared best practices with the goal of bringing digital literacy to all students; with a focus on the experience of the learner and student outcomes. In a session entitled, “Empowering Digital Fluency For 21st Century Learners”, Kyle Bowen, Director of Innovation at Penn State, posed the question, “How do we prepare students for those jobs that haven’t even been invented yet?” One way is by fostering creativity and creative problem-solving in all students across disciplines.
