This past December, against all odds, Chelsea Oguagha (’19) graduated from ACU with a B.A. in Bible and Ministry and was honored with the Dean Adams Achievement Award and V.W. and Loreta Kelley Scholarship Award.

Chelsea is a student worker at ACU Brown Library in the Gaines B. Stanley Theological Reading Room.  Her supervisor, Linda Childers explains, “Chelsea’s story is a story of faith and patience.  She literally fought for her life and recovered from cancer, and finished college at ACU with honors. It’s been an honor to work with her and see first hand how truly remarkable she is.”   Click here to learn more about Chelsea’s story.

The library will miss Chelsea as she interns in Canada this summer; however, she will be back on campus in August to continue with her Master of Divinity degree.
