Brown Library started the year strong with the purchase of almost 200 new theological books, in both print and ebook format. Topics from the books include history of religion & politics, Christian social issues, Anglican Christianity, Christian Living, Bible Hermeneutics, Christian ethics, and much more!
There have also been quite a few suggested books sent in by faculty, staff, and students throughout the summer. From Maisie Dobbs, a private investigator living in England post-WWI, to Stephen King’s 8-book Dark Tower series, and a book on how universities and higher education institutions can better serve the Hispanic community by Gina Ann Garcia.
The library will be ordering books for other departments in the coming months!
