This summer the Maker Lab hosted a three day Faculty Maker Camp that provided an opportunity for discovery on how to enhance course content. Micah Heatwole, director of the Maker Lab, shares, “Faculty worked on three projects.  First, they used the wood shop to build beautiful cutting boards out of red oak, walnut, and maple. Second, they learned the basics of 3D printing and how this creative medium could be used in the classroom. The final project was a crash course in soldering and electronic components, resulting in a Bluetooth speaker. The camp was a great success.”
