As a part of this renewal, ACU gained access to <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/stock.adobe.com\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Adobe Stock<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, an expertly curated collection of millions of high-quality images, videos, artwork, and other digital assets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In October 2021, the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/adamscenter\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Adams Center<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> partnered with Amos Gutierrez (\u201819), ACU Adobe ambassador in the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.acu.edu\/if\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Innovation Foundry<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, Dr. Trey Shirley (\u201804), college assistant professor of art and design, and Joyce Haley (\u201804), assistant professor of journalism and mass communication, to host a faculty session, \u201cImages for Equity\u201d to discuss Adobe Stock and the process of choosing images that promote diversity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The world around us is growing increasingly more diverse each year. It is essential to recognize, celebrate, and embrace our differences with the understanding that we are all created in the image of God. According to the ACU <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.acu.edu\/about\/diversity-and-inclusion\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, approximately 39% of ACU\u2019s student body is racially and ethnically diverse. As diversity increases throughout the ACU community, it becomes increasingly more important to promote diversity through representation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Photographs have the power to play a massive role in shaping how we see the world and the people around us.
