This Fall 2012 Gerontology course was special for all involved.\u00a0 Not your normal classroom experience, field trips were arranged to visit twelve different local agencies that service the elderly.\u00a0 They included government, non-profit, and for profit businesses.\u00a0 Many of the people who shared their time and described their role also welcome our students as interns for the certificate\u2019s practicum course.\u00a0\u00a0 Some are graduates of our Gerontology program.<\/p>\n
