My main service activity to the profession is to act as a regular reviewer for management journals. I have been very selective in doing so, focusing on those that are well-respected and highly-ranked management journals. Most notably, I serve as an editorial board member for Journal of International Business Studies (JIBS), which is widely considered to be the top international business journal in the management field (since 2015) and a Financial Times-50 Journal. Reviewing has been a challenging yet rewarding experience since I took on this role as a PhD student in 2015. It provides the opportunity to offer constructive feedback to fellow management scholars working to advance their research. It has also been professionally rewarding as I believe it has helped me to become a better scholar in terms of being aware of the latest developing research and helping me to better understand how to effectively craft and carry out research projects. In December 2019, I was asked to serve for a third-term as an editorial board member for JIBS, extending my commitment through 2022.
I have also served as an ad hoc reviewer for Organization Studies, Journal of Management Studies, Human Relations, Journal of Management Inquiry, and the Journal of Business Ethics.
