During Fall\/Spring, on your appointment day, you can find us in the ACU Brown Library, Second Floor – next to the AT&T Learning Studio. Walk-ins Welcome!<\/p>\n

Monday:\u00a0 Noon – 9:00 pm<\/p>\n

Tuesday:\u00a0 Noon to 9:00pm<\/p>\n

Wednesday: Noon – 9:00 pm<\/p>\n

Thursday: Noon to 9:00pm<\/p>\n

Friday:\u00a0 Noon to 3pm<\/p>\n

Sunday: 7 pm to 10 pm<\/p>\n

We also offer asynchronous consultations for ACU Study Abroad students to get a feedback within 48 hours! Please email your speech video to speakingcenter@acu.edu<\/a><\/p>\n

Before Booking an\u00a0Appointment<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Speaking projects can take longer than you expect, so it’s a good idea to start preparing in advance. \u00a0If you are looking for help organizing and researching your presentation, make an appointment a week or two before your speaking day. \u00a0If you are planning to visit the Speaking Center to practice delivery or work on your visual aids, schedule your appointment 5-7 days before your speaking day. \u00a0Last minute appointments don’t leave you time to make changes suggested by consultants and practice your revised speech before your presentation.<\/p>\n

The Speaking Center gets very busy during the semester, so we recommend that you book your appointment at least a week in advance.<\/p>\n

What to Expect During Your Appointment<\/strong><\/h3>\n

When you come to your appointment, please bring your assignment, the work you\u2019ve already completed, and any questions you have. We look forward to giving you feedback and helping you become a more effective communicator. However, we will not do your work for you. For example, we cannot give you a speech topic, do your research, or write your speech.
