We will participate in\u00a0Preservation Week 2019<\/a>\u00a0by hosting three preservation-themed webinars in the Special Collections and Archives reading room on the lower level of the ACU Brown Library from 1-2 pm on April 23, 25, and 26.<\/p>\n

The one-hour webinars will focus on very practical strategies anyone can employ to preserve their family history.\u00a0 At each webinar we will feature three different recipes from the archives, primarily drawing on the 1974\u00a0Women of ACC Cookbook.\u00a0<\/em>If you\u2019re in Abilene please come join us, and if you can\u2019t make it in person we\u2019ll share links so you can watch the webinars online.\u00a0 We will also share the recipes and some additional historical context about their authors. Below are the first three recipes we\u2019re trying out\u2013 stay tuned for more!<\/p>\n

Donna Sue Barr <\/a>(1938-2008) was born in Oplin, Texas, and married Leon Barr in 1959. She worked for West Texas Utilities for over a decade and was very active in University Church of Christ in Abilene, TX.<\/p>\n
