\ni.Nominations and Elections (Karen W, Jamie Bearden, Sam Adkins, Lauren Boyles)<\/p>\n
\n1-Sick2Service benefit \u2013 must be a service organization and supervisor must approve \u2013 must have 240 hours \u2013 can have up to 5 days year
\nDenial would be: not service org or not 240 sick leave hours
\nExample \u2013 meals on wheels, figure out how many hours a year and submit the form one-time year, HR will be announcing at benefits
\nDavid Scott – motion to move forward Susan H. to second<\/p>\n
\nDRI \u2013 assist with pumpkin unloading on October 1st and 15th
\nOct 15th has a lot of people set up to work on the 15th.
\nFirst years teachers dinner \u2013 took supplies that we gathered and let the first year teachers fill their bags first and then the others \u2013 they appreciated the partnership with<\/p>\n

\nSam will send out sign up sheets to welcome, set up tables and work<\/p>\n
\nAwareness issues with Drugs and Alcohol, anxiety course \u2013 they offer an 8 hour course, can we have a shorter course? They are state funded so most are 8 hours What do we offer? ACUPD, what are trhe procedures. What if we were to plan a time after the students leave? Dec or Jan? 20-25 class size
\nKaren W. suggested that we have some testimonials to encourage people to signup<\/p>\n
\nAs a University we will be getting paid every 2 weeks
\nThis doesn\u2019t save money
\nWe are simply trying to save money
\nThey used to run 5 payrolls a month
\nThey are trying to get to one payroll \u2013 bi-weekly \u2013 every other Friday starting January 10th
\nWill always be a straight 80 hours – supervisors were unable to quickly see if there was overtime.
\nA new person starting will now get paid in a timely manner
\nAutomatic drafts will be different – you will need to look through your budget and determine when you want to change your drafts
\nSubmitting timesheets etc. timesheets will be submitted each Monday \u2013 supervisors approve on Tuesdays – an unapproved timesheet will go unpaid
\nPAF deadlines
\nBenefits will come out of 24 payrolls, loans, ACU acct payments
\nRetirement and taxes will be 26
\nThere will be 2 months that we get 2 extra paychecks with no benefits out
\nOct 28th open enrolment begins info
\nNov 4th will be the enrollment elections – ELAP will be here
\nAll will be online as well \u2013 guide book and info mtgs<\/p>\n
\nProxies will need to be set up
\nThere are going to be people monitoring and will contact approvers to try to catch<\/p>\n
