Jess has worked faithfully throughout her time at ACU to develop research skills that not only prepare her for graduate school but also satisfy a sincere desire within her to improve the lives of women. Jess has the initiative and high standards to make a real difference in the world. Her ability to excel in sports (swimming, and now preparing for a 26-mile marathon) and her determination to achieve a goal and never give up is commendable. Jess is truly an example of the ACU student who shines as a light on a hill.
