This is the libel case in California I was talking about in class Thursday.
UPDATE: Here’s another libel story about a topic we didn’t touch on in class. I’d like to add the 60 Minutes alar scare in 1989 the story refers to was truly some bad journalism. It decimated the market for apples with unsubstantiated claims about the dangers of the chemical.
