Student Poetry Contest Information

This poetry contest is brought to the ACU campus by Tau Epsilon, the ACU chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society.

When Submissions Accepted:
September 11 to October 2

What Submissions Accepted:
original student work
unpublished poems only
up to 3 poems (no more than 150 lines total)

How Submissions Accepted:
by email
as attachments (doc, docx, and pdf ONLY)
to Suanna Davis at shd11a@acu.edu
with the subject line Poetry Contest 2017
without your name on the poems
with your name in the email

Judges:
Judges will be published poets.
Primary judges will not be affiliated with ACU.
Tiebreaker judges, if needed, will be from ACU.

Prizes:
$60 first prize
$30 second prize
$20 third prize

How Winners Announced:
in an Awards Ceremony
on Thursday, October 12
at 7:30 pm
in the Brown Library Atrium
