The newest issue of Missio Dei is out and has deep connections, both past and current, with the GST.

Assistant editor, Dr. Chris Flanders, Associate Professor of Missions in the GST, served as the guest editor for this recent issue on honor-shame issues in missions and wrote the editorial preface.

Missio Dei: A Journal of Missional Theology and Praxis (MDJ) is a digital medium for exploring the rich tradition and ongoing practice of participation in the mission of God among churches of the Stone-Campbell Restoration Movement, particularly Churches of Christ/Christian Churches and Churches of Christ (a cappella), in an open dialogue with Christian missiology. MDJ is published semiannually by the Missio Dei Foundation. The foundation endeavors to produce a high-quality, open-access missiological journal.

In this current issue of MDJ, those with connections to the GST include current professor Dr. Mindi Thompson. Also contributing to this issue are several graduates of the GST, which include Dr. Sherry Bennett Fariss (now serving with Pioneer Bible Translators), Dr. Dan Bouchelle (president of Mission Resource Network), Dr. J. Omar Palafox, David Allen, Andy Johnson, Jeremy Davis, and Travis Allen Myers.
