GMetrix Practice Exams & LearnKey Curriculum
Preparing for the ACA exam is important. Students seeking certification will be granted access to two amazing training resources.
First, the ACA LearnKey Curriculum. This curriculum will walk through all the objectives covered in the ACA certification exam. It is highly recommended that you go through this curriculum to prepare for the exam. LearnKey Curriculum is available for Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and Dreamweaver.
Second, the GMetrix practice exam. The practice exam has two modes: Testing and Training. Training mode has an option to see the answer or correct process for completing a task. The testing mode does not have this option.
Recommended Process:
Practice Exam
1) Download Adobe CC desktop app and necessary Adobe app (Ps, Ai, Id, Pr, Dw, Ae, An).
2) Sign up for a GMetrix account and Download the GMetrix app.
• Visit www.gmetrix.net (Links to an external site.) and sign up for a new account using your ACU email address.
• Download the GMetrix SMS program. https://support.gmetrix.net/download (Links to an external site.)
3) Open the GMetrix SMS program and log in to your account.
4) From the menu, select Redeem.
5) Enter the GMetrix Practice Exam Code provided by your professor. (Note: If you have already received an exam code prior to this course, you do not need to redeem a new one.)
6) Choose Adobe Certified Associate Creative Cloud 2018 (LITA). LITA stands for Live-in-the-App.
7) Choose your practice exam.
8) Hover over Test 1 and choose “Testing Mode”.
9) The exam will launch the Adobe app, and your exam will begin.
10) Once finished with the exam, you will see your results. The results will be broken down into the different objectives for the exam. Locate the areas that you needed the most work. These are the areas you may need to pay special attention to in the following steps.
LearnKey Curriculum
1) Open the GMetrix program and log in to your account.
2) In the menu, choose “Redeem“.
3) Enter the LearnKey Course Exam Code provided by your professor (This is not the same code as your GMetrix code.)
4) Choose “Start a New Course”.
5) Select the Course you would like to take.
6) Complete each section of the course. Pay special attention to the objectives you needed more work on during the practice exam.
7) Once you have completed the curriculum. Retake the Practice Exam 1 in Testing Mode to see if you improved.
8) Take additional practice exams in Testing Mode, before taking them in Training Mode.
