Heather Isbell and Anna Watson at Bondi Beach.

Two members of our department, Heather Isbell, a junior Environmental Science major, and Anna Watson, a senior Animal Science major, went to Moree, New South Wales, Australia with World-Wide Witness this summer. Moree is in the northern part of New South Wales, which is in the southeastern part of Australia.
Heather and Anna aided local churches and helped serve the Aboriginal people in and around Moree. They played with and ministered to children in the park and in youth group and passed out fruit to kids on the street. On Wednesday mornings, the girls were able to participate in a Bible study in which they went through 1 Corinthians 10-16, and Wednesday evenings they attended a prayer meeting. They also had the opportunity to share their testimonies with the youth in the community and on Thursdays, they helped serve a warm meal to the local Aboriginal people.
On the trip they saw wildlife such as kangaroos, emus, koalas, wombats and lots of parrots. The experience Heather and Anna had is one they will never forget. They would both encourage you to check out World-Wide Witness and expand your horizons. What you learn here at ACU can be used to impact the lives of others all around the world.
