Multi-media Campaign

This is McDonald’s multimedia campaign for the World Cup in Brazil in 2014. They had commercial spots, print ads, and social media ads. It was a very successful campaign for them. They touched just about every base they could to maximize their frequency and reach.

Sales Promotion

This is a Sales Promotion ad for Subway. It promises the simple advertising scheme of buy one, get one free. This is very effective for a place like subway where people really go for the bargain. Cause Marketing Ad

This is a Cause Marketing Ad for Humane Society of Canada. It gives 50 cents for every bottle of wine you purchase. It is a genius idea that works very well. The line is catchy and based off of a lame sort of idiom but it is very effective here. I believe this is a magazine print ad from the mid-2000’s.

Radio Ad

This is a radio ad for audible dot com from 2012. They are a website where you can stream audio books for free to your iphone or laptop. It is a good ad, as it explains how you will never be alone or bored with the app. It’s very good at communicating the message of audible.

 

Controversial

Here is a controversial ad made in 2009. It is controversial because it shows a child smoking a cigar. It is meant to be provoking. I think it is very effective to allude that you should treat your body the same as your child’s. It is a proficient controversial ad that gains the well earned head turnsĀ it deserves.

Ethnic Minority Audience

This is an example of a company targeting a minority audience in 1976. The typeface accompanies the black family, because it has sort of a disco vibe to it. It shows a middle class black family having a good time around the dinner table despite not being financially very wealthy. It is broadening it’s audience which I am certain their main consumer at the time was predominately white.

It’s pretty incredible that they target women right on the pint.

Campaign

They recently added new flavors were there is a core of filling in the middle. It is called Ben and Jerry’s Core Flavors. There is everything from salted caramel to chocolate in the middle. They announced it half a year in advance and had a lot of buzz over it. They kept using a phrase “Join our core!” to push the new product which caught on with ease.Ben-Jerrys-Core
