This was easy to predict, that the Regime relies on institutions such as the Morality Police to maintain control, and there is no way they would terminate it despite a couple of days ago with the AG Mohammad Jafar Montazeri saying, “The morality police had nothing to do with the judiciary, and the same institution that established it has now shut it down.”  That was an untruth, if anything designed to find some way for the protests to end.  Nope.  “Iran’s state media denies abolition of ‘morality police’ as three-day strike begins,” CNBC, 12-5-22.
