Here’s what that means,” CNN, 9-27-25.  “Snapback restores UN sanctions that were introduced between 2006 and 2010 – including an arms embargo, and a ban on Iran getting technology for its ballistic missile program. Iran’s oil and financial services sectors were also targeted. But the European decision is not binding on the other signatories to JCPOA, China and Russia, historical allies of Iran.”
