The first Monday in October is the first day of the Supreme Court term. Justices Stephen Breyer, Antonin Scalia, Clarence Thomas and Anthony M. Kennedy joined Chief Justice Roberts, at today’s Red Mass at the Cathedral of St. Matthew in Washington.
