In FEC v. Wisconsin Right to Life, the Supreme Court ruled portions of the McCain-Feingold campaign finance law unreasonably limits speech and violates First Amendment rights.
Unfortunately, the two newest justices limited their opinion to this case.
In Morse v. Frederick, the Bong Hits for Jesus Case, the Court said schools “may take steps to safeguard those entrusted to their care from speech that can reasonably be regarded as encouraging illegal drug use.”
