Nil commemorating Texas Independence Day in Gruene:

If I could include a windmill in every picture I take, I’d do it.

Dark and brooding windmill.

A lone star:

Texas mountain laurel. Unfortunately you can’t smell the grape Kool-Aid.

Cowboy bling:

Lots of folks found ways to take the iconic images of a water tower, a windmill, or the facade of the dance hall and help us see them again. Love the reflections shot. What time of day was that? Seems to blend from day to night across the image.

Great shots here as well, Kenneth. The facade picture is one of my favorites from your images. Very intriguing rotation, and as Kyle mentioned, the blend from light to dark in the sky is simply beautiful.

Thanks for the feedback. Took the Dance Hall pic reflected in the back of a minivan at dusk. Cade told me I needed more of a reference to show it’s the back of a car. I realize an unintentional Texas theme developed in my selections.
