Although my focus is on my own department and classes, I also feel responsible to support the university by participating in shared governance and generally supporting efforts to improve the experience of ACU students.
I have served on several university committees, including:
- the Faculty Development Committee (September 2009 – August 2012)
- the Teacher Education Council (August 2011 – present)
- the Library Committee (May 2013 – May 2016)
I volunteered as a presentations judge in the ACU Undergraduate Research Festival in 2013 and 2014. I appreciated the opportunity to hear about research efforts in other departments and plan to participate again in this annual festival.
