I’m including here a brief personal narrative that I wrote for Robert Foster’s Justice in the Biblical Tradition class in the spring of 2010. The narrative explores how issues of justice came to be important to me, and given the strength of my interest in social justice ministries, it seemed appropriate to include this paper alongside my other reflections on ministerial identity. Perhaps I will incorporate some of what I’ve written here into my next official revision of the longer reflection. In the meantime, enjoy!
