The Friends of ACU Library (FACUL) was organized in 1966 and has served since that date as a strong, effective support group working to enhance Brown Library.  Through fund raising, the group has been able to purchase equipment and materials that would otherwise be beyond the reach of the library.

In addition to gifts originating within the membership, FACUL has served to attract monetary gifts as well as gifts of collections to the library from other sources.  It also sponsors programs ranging from scholarly lectures to student-produced plays to galas celebrating music, art, and literature.

The membership year begins January 1 and extends through December 31.

FACUL 2016-17 Board of Directors are: Dr. Todd Womble, President; Dr. Christopher Hutson, Vice President; Kate Ferguson, Secretary; Chris Kyker, Treasurer; Trenton Dietz Dr. Brent Isbell; Dr. Tracy Shilcutt; Dr. James Thompson
