In an effort to learn how the library is meeting the needs of the campus community, the library is conducting a series of user surveys asking students and faculty about the library building, the resources and services it provides and how the library supports the work they do while at ACU.

Undergraduates, graduates, faculty, and online students were each sent a survey reflecting the unique needs of each user group.  Student Services emailed the appropriate survey link campus-wide inviting each person to participate.

The will not only inform the library of how effective it is serving the campus but also provide insight into how it contributes to student and faculty success.

Laura Baker, Librarian for Digital Research and Learning explains, “Our users are the reason for what we do, so it makes sense to ask them how things are going. The library has many innovative services and spaces, but the most successful have been those that incorporate feedback from students and faculty. We intend to survey our users often because the feedback will indicate our progress and help us determine next steps for continued focus on user-centered design.”
