    • John C. Steven’s nominees (July 20th  – Final vote initiated to be completed by the 28th) – Lowell Johnston (retiring in the next few months), Larry Henderson, Geoff Klafter, Susan Gore, Mandy Scudder, Laura Carroll, Anthony Williams, Shannon Kazmaryk, Teri Tilly
    • Goals for the year – 
      • Diversity (Speaker in Aug), Learning difficult conversation tactics
      • Better communication with Staff (Blog?) 
      • Visibility on Campus…intentional 
      • Staff Senate has “Wins”
      • Schubert Chat – $500.00 budget is small for our goals and plans and 3 Staff at SLT (requesting that one staff sit in on meetings or a go-between) Strategic communication and visibility are key!
      • Staff feels uninformed of ACU plans.  Need someone on the Communications Committee to be that person
      • Fridays off or the week of July 4th off?  “Overworked and underpaid”
      • Raise time (raises for the Faculty but not enough funds for Staff – no communication – given to Managers to communicate bad news to staff, hurtful)
      • Filtering questions? 
    • Guest speakers/groups for the year – Town Hall Meetings?  
  • Announcements
    • Health and Safety protocols  – Plexiglass in certain areas, Masks in ALL common areas
    • Other? Some universities…Guidebook on safety matters to ALL on campus, signing it to acknowledge that you have been made aware (wear a mask, wash hands, social distance, etc).Not sure ACU is doing this.
    • Reminder, not a mandate. Model what is expected/”required.”
