Each year Staff Senate selects the recipient of the the John C Stevens award. Please select a nominee by May 11 and then the Senate will vote on the award winner.
Below is a list of criteria that a person exhibits to receive the John C. Stevens award:
~Displays the spirit of Dr. John C. Stevens’ traditions to students, staff, faculty, administration, special guests, and visitors Tradition of friendliness: readily speaks and greets one and all on campus, Tradition of helpfulness: goes the extra miles; characteristic of kindness, Tradition of neatness in appearance: presents a positive image of ACU
~Longevity of service: 10+ years of employment
~Evidence of involvement outside staff members department
~Exemplifies service to others (students, staff, faculty, guests, and visitors)
~Possesses a servant heart
Current staff senators and executive administrative staff are ineligible for this award.
