  • Call to Order 9:00am
  • Prayer  – Cara Flanders (Susan Hardcastle loss in family, Shelby Hannigan both parents have covid, working with students, Jama Cadle (mother passed away) Ray Hernandez (ACU PD) in hospital
  • Approval of Minutes  Karen Gililland and Hippie Scott  
  • Old Business
    • Thank you for being flexible and not meeting in January  – the first week of classes, etc.
    • Executive Committee
    • Committee Updates
      • Nominations and Elections  – began working on the nomination list to clean up and will turn into HR to begin nominations next week for next term. 
      • Communication  – Amber showed the new and updated website.  Specifically the staff senate web page
      • Benefits and Advocacy  – Update on the question on Maternity leave.  HR will work on communication with campus. 
      • Service- nothing new to report 
      • Development and Recognition  – nothing new to report 
      • Bylaw committee – See the Bylaws amendments below
  • New policies for approval  -centrally located on these policies are kept on the legal website
  • Staff event in May
    • Outdoor event  – could fall under the Service committee and could partner with HR. We will have the use of the staff senate budget of $900 to use.  Please have an update ready by the March meeting.
  • New Business
    • Construction Update – Corey Ruff and Scott Duncan (they may also speak about the new policies for repair and events)
    • updates on new residence hall and Moody Coliseum, Science & Research center (Taylor), Theater will move to Taylor during Sewell renovation, need to relocate the IM fields (behind Smith Adams), UP (ACU now owns again since June – Needs cosmetic work, would like to have it totally renovated in 2-3 years.  New Hall 2 (demo Gardner) on hold. 
    • SLT Updates – 
      • Reissuing of the retirement earlier than expected 
      • Pledging changes coming
      • Covid numbers are better on campus but have several employees in the hospital 
    • Town Hall

    • Prayers for looking for a new Chief of Police
