The best way to learn Spanish is to travel to a Spanish speaking country. The ACU Spanish Immersion Program provides you the opportunity to learn the language and be involved in the culture in Uruguay. You can do this through service projects, asados (Uruguayan BBQ), and other activities organized with locals. You can get involved with other students in Montevideo by various groups like MIS (Montevideo International Students) or La Ruta (Campus Ministry).  You will also experience Montevideo’s rich cultural heritage, which includes a newly renovated performing arts center for opera, symphonies, theater and numerous museums.
