Brief

Print ONE IMAGE utilizing photopolymer plate. Create a variety of combinations with print color and paper.

Process/criteria

• Open subject matter
• You must take your own photos
• Pre-select as many images as you can (4 to 6 at least), pre-print them in black and white.
• Print final images or photocopy them on transparencies (make sure you have the right transparency type for each kind of printer — ink jet, or laser/photocopy machine)
• Transfer image to plate
• Make prints
• Finish presentation

Print/plate size: 5×7

Turn in:

One Image, three prints:

  • B&W only (no background color) on white paper
  • B&W only (no background color) on off-white paper
  • 1-color only (no background) on white or off-white paper

Frame your best (1) image on a 16×20 frame (You can get them from Bev in the art office).
Mount the other 2 on 16×20 white matte-board.

Presentation: Tuesday 10, 2-3:45 p.m.
