Brooke Shaden

Brooke Shaden works in the Los Angeles area. Her photos create images that resemble paintings and speak of an era that is not our own. Each photo tells a different story.  She mostly takes self-portrait and portraits of others. Brooke creates the impossible into possible through her photos. Brooke is also a young talented photographer and is only 25 years old. I like how young she is and how she has two degrees in film and english. She also has a lot of her work in galleries and magazines. Check out her website!

Caitlin Worthington

Caitlin Worthington, she is only 22 years old and from Australia. Her work is fashion and portraits. Her website is simple but you have to use the bottom scroller to see the photos. She has done a lot of work for magazines and online shopping. The selection on the side label Book 2, has crazy makeup on and clothing and the photos are just fun and the colors are beautiful. Achim Lippoth

Achim Lippoth is a photographer for advertising, casting, culture, faces, KISD, magazines and does make up as well. His website is AMAZING!!! Most of his work is with younger children and his advertising is funny as well.

Annie Leibovitz
Another favorite photographer, for her versatile, daring and crafty style. I was able to see her exhibition: A Photographer’s Life, and many of her original prints in Paris a couple of years ago.

Now we start looking at more contemporary photographers. Dan Winters is one of my favorite commercial/editorial photographers. I had a chance to meet him while attending a workshop in Hunt, TX a few years ago. Really a great guy, and an excellent eye for “light composition.” He is now based in Austin.
