ACU EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING

Experiential Learning Grant

In an effort to support students’ engagement in experiential learning, we are excited to launch our application for spring Experiential Learning Grants. Students can apply for up to $500 to use towards an experiential learning opportunity including internships, international education/study abroad, and/or research or creative projects. Expenses that would be considered may include travel costs, registration fees, housing support, and educational expenses. All grants will be awarded post-experience.

Experiences taking place between January 1, 2026 and May 15, 2026 will be considered in this grant cycle. Applications close on Friday, October 17th at 11:59pm. You can view a preview of the application questions and a budget submission template down below. Additionally, you can email Brittany Deeg (@bnd24b@acu.edu) with any questions you have or visit our team in the CEL (Brown Library 260).

What is the Value of Experiential Learning?

Experiential Learning is…

What Our Students are Saying

“I never thought that Theatre would ever have a place in the mission field until God called me to the mission field. ACU Missions equipped me in opening up to what God’s Kingdom can look like, and my life has not been the same since. It is a transformational experience to see the love of God throughout the world and to witness how the Gospel can drastically impact the lives of people.”

Mitchell Bradford

“One thing I like most about my internship (at the NEXT lab) is the opportunity to learn. There is so much to do and to learn from working here, and also I like the goals that NEXT is wanting to achieve.”

Felix Mbikogbia

“I am so thankful for the opportunity to participate in the Undergraduate Research Festival as a member of the ACU McNair Scholars Program. My project would not have been possible without the guidance and mentorship of Dr. Steven Moore, James Scudder, and the wonderful professors that encouraged me along the way. My time as a McNair Scholar has added to my already amazing experience as an ACU student and has helped me grow as a researcher.”
Tres Cox

“Living in Leipzig for a semester was an unforgettable adventure! It gave me the opportunity to learn and grow in a new environment while immersed in rich history, culture, and traditions. Not only did I fall in love with Leipzig, but I also collected memories and experiences that will last a lifetime! Studying abroad transformed and broadened my global perspective, shaping me into who I am today! Do not miss out on the opportunity to live and learn abroad in Leipzig!”
