Innovation Foundry recently implemented a new course evaluation system called Blue by Explorance that integrates with their learning management system and can be completed by students, in the classroom.
Every semester, students can evaluate the instruction and course content of each of their courses. Course evaluations are an important part of the educational process because they provide valuable course feedback, and spark teaching and learning improvements.
In an effort to transition to Blue, two of the Educational Technology staff, Marisa Beard, Director of Educational Technology, and Stephen Rektenwald (‘99), Assistant Director of Educational Technology, engaged in an intensive Blue Administrator and Blue Expert training at the BlueNotes International Conference in Louisville, KY.
