The Shinnery Review will begin accepting cover art submissions for the 2023 – 2024 issue until March 1st!
Send us your original artwork.
We accept submissions from all ACU undergraduates, from all majors. The chosen submission will be featured on the 2024 issue of the magazine, which will be released at the Black Tulip event in April. To see past year’s magazines, visit our Past Issues page.
Deadline: March 1st at 11:59pm
How to Submit:
Please send all submissions to theshinneryreview@gmail.com. Include your name and contact information in the body of the e-mail, but leave all contact information off of the submission itself. We will let you know if your work is accepted to the magazine by early April.
Some Things to Keep in Mind:
- “The Shinnery Review” and “art and literary magazine” should be clearly stated
- We would love to incorporate some aspect of a tree, as our magazine is named after one!
- Front and back covers should be cohesive and seamless
- No photography, please, just original art (think paintings, drawings, digital art, etc)!
- Please submit all files as PDF or PNG
- Cover Dimensions: 4.25 x 6.87
