Inferential Statistics

Description:  The pinnacle of statistical testing, this type of analysis seeks to determine if the results obtained in a random experiment represent statistically significant results.  That usually involves the calculation of the probability that observed differences between two data sets could have arisen by chance variations in sampling.  We will briefly discuss the important concepts and applications of hypothesis testing and give the student some practical skills for application in their area of study.
