Description: Much of our work so far has been to describe a single data set, but in general statistics is often done with multiple data sets and drawing useful comparisons across data sets and between distributions is an extremely important process. In this lecture we consider measures of relative standing (z-scores, percentiles) and focus the bulk of our attention on defining the normal distribution and discussing its applications to data comparisons. This is a calculator intensive topic.
