Permutations and Combinations

Description: In this lecture we introduce two new concepts related to counting. Permutations are rearrangements of objects while combinations are collections of objects. We use the factorial to derive formulas to handle each case. We also consider problems where both counting methods are necessary and discuss how to handle items that are repeated.
